This is the story of a French company whose « savoir-faire » for 30 years has been to manufacture innovative radiology equipment for veterinary imaging.
With the experience and the recognized technological mastery of GER, the company FAS, owner of the company since 2018, has the ambition to become the world reference in veterinary radiology.
GER's "VET-TECH" concept is a qualitative approach focused on the real needs of our veterinary customers.
It is by strengthening our technological knowledge and keeping control of a very complex production that we manufacture all our GER equipment in our premises in Paris, whether it is the monobloc or the radio generator.
Embrace the convenience of digital
The VET-TECH CRHi-Res technology consists in depositing the latent radiographic image on a radiosensitive support in the form of phosphorus plates, which are located in cassettes. These plates are then "read" by a scanner which digitizes the images and transmits them to our acquisition software. The plates are then erased for a new acquisition.
The VET-TECH DR4343 system proposed by GER has a flat panel detector based on a mosaic of radiosensitive cesium iodide sensors and a scintillator. As the name suggests, the flat panel detector is integrated into the X-ray table and its software scans the image to send it to our acquisition software. There is therefore no longer any handling of cassettes.
The digital acquisition of X-ray images advantageously replaces chemical development by eliminating the constraints linked to its use: much less handling, no use of chemistry, no more dark rooms.
